That’s Life

Description

This painting is a self portrait. I painted after a trip to the local hospital, I was sick and requiring diagnostic tests, unfortunately my insurance didn’t want cover the cost and I couldn’t afford them. I wasn’t impressed, aside from the fact that it was humiliating, what is the point of health insurance that doesn’t cover basic healthcare. The picture pretty well encapsulates my mood afterwards.
