Description

Outsider art painting

Patlican man or Patlıcan man if we spell it correctly. Patlıcan is the Turkish word for Aubergine (there is no such thing as eggplant).  Patlican Man is a self-portrait acrylic painting on a canvas background featuring newspaper clippings in the style of a ransom note.

This composition started out as a splash painting, hence the heavy texture drips, and runs beneath the top layer.

On the surface of the painting, it says:

Patlican  man

Not unravelling just re-wilding

I want to be free of poets

Time well wasted

Crash olacak

Liars turn  me off

Aubergine
